Babaeng Kamatayan (Woman of Death)

I turn off the main light in my room. It’s time to sleep now. I reach for the lamp that stands on the corner of the wooden table near my bed and turn it on.

The room brightens up from the lamp’s dim yellow lightThe light from the lamp makes me feel safe. It clears the room from any monsters that would pop up if I open my eyes.

I awoke in the middle of the night to the deafening silence. My body clock always wakes me up at 3 in the morning. Like, why at 3? Why do I always have to wake up during the haunting hour?
I look around the room. It’s dark. That’s weird. The lamp is off. The air conditioner seems to stop working. I feel a little warm.  Maybe there’s a blackout or something.
Only the light coming from the moon illuminates my small room.

I am lying down on my belly with my left hand hanging from the bed, too tired to pull it up at some point. I feel a tingle going up and down my left arm.
I can’t see anything.
When my vision starts to adjust in the dark, I gaze at my arm to check what’s making the fine tingling strokes. I notice fingers caressing my left arm, black-chipped fingernails attached to a pale skinny hand with scars and stitches. The fingers leave traces of blood with every stroke.
The entity is wearing a black dress that covers her whole body including the arms. I trail the uncovered parts of her body, but when I am about to look at her face, the stitches on her cheeks stopped me. What if she’s staring at me with those sharp red eyes? OMG! I can’t bare to see such horror.

I stop. I close my eyes.
“Andy…” The entity whispers, still caressing my arm.
“Andy…” She continues.
What the hell do you want from me? I scream inside my head.

I am never gonna talk to her.
I need to make her go away. This is another one of those entities that had sensed my gift.
And they always leave when I pray.
I start saying the Lord’s prayer, but her will is too strong that I can’t focus. I try to pray slowly, reciting every word on my mind.
I hear her mumble words that I can’t fathom. Her voice becomes clearer and I finally understand what she is saying. She is chanting the Lord’s prayer with me.
I grasp the sheet of my bed. Sweat dripping with every breath. This is insane! How can she pray? She should be gone by now.
I shut my eyes.
Who knows what kind of horror awaits me when I open them.
This is a different kind of entity, far stronger than the others.
I call on Jesus’ name in my head, over and over again. I ignore her as much as possible, disregarding the pain her nails are causing me. I am stronger than her.

The entity removes her fingers from my arm. Slowly, she moves toward the now-opened door. I remember closing the door before I went to bed.
“Andy…” She calls again. This time, she was standing in the middle of the door.
“Please, come with me…”

“Come… follow me…”

I will never go with you! Never.
I close my eyes.

A few seconds later, I can feel the cold air coming from the air conditioner again. I open my eyes. The lamp is now on. I look at the door. It is closed.

The entity is gone.

Babaeng Kamatayan or Woman of Death. Similar to the Grim Reaper. This is a kind of entity who wears a long black dress covering her body with visible scars and stitches all over her hands and face. This entity has a soothing, motherly voice that will lure you into following her out of the door. Once you attempt to go after her and walk past the door, she will crush your heart with her sharp fingernails and steal your soul. The more soul she gets, the stronger she becomes.

This entity is much stronger than the ordinary white or black lady.
